Paris Charles de Gaulle is also known as Roissy Airport and is the largest International Airport in France. The airport is named after the Free French Forces leader in the Second World War, Charles de Gaulle. Known affectionately as CDG, it is 25km to the North East of Paris. It is the worlds eighth busiest Airport and Europe's second busiest. To give an idea of just how big the Airport is, it covers over 32km of land.
